Select Spine and Sport – website design & photography

Scott at Select Spine and Sport needed a simple site that he could easily maintain. Well, let me back up. The first task was to create a logo and branding. He had been using a similar logo, but completely different fonts and color scheme, that really didn’t fit the company. So I refined the logo idea, applied a more fitting color scheme and font, and prepared a clean, vector version for him to use in web and print pieces.

Then came the website. I really wanted to focus on keeping the site very modifiable, yet still simple to administer. The site is in WordPress, and most everything can be customized without cluttering up the WordPress template without all sorts of extra “stuff” in the admin interface (like those purchased premium themes that just overload the code and overwhelm the user). Later that year, I also provided a photo shoot session to capture some action shots with some wonderful models–some of Scott’s clients who were nice enough to donate their time.
